Interesting UI, but it doesn't seem very practical at all compared to normal editors.

Though the GPU based encoding was pretty cool.

I'd like to see gpu encoding as a feature in the next release of premiere. Using the gpu for previews and transitions would be helpful too, but as vivaldi noted....everything else just seems like it would be impractical and hard to use

I did find it kind of humorous that it had an instant tube upload, lol. I wonder how well the program actually functions.

Well after using it for a bit, I have to say it is certainly very interesting! However it seems designed more for eyecandy than for editing efficiency. For instance, its rather difficult to zoom in and do single-frame edits. When you crossfade clips, it also seems to be a bit difficult to see exactly where the crossfade is happening. Also I don't like the idea of the infinitely zoomable desktop.

Also it looks like the free version puts a watermark on your work. If not for that, I would have said this was a pretty decent free editor.

I believe PPro CS4 supports CUDA for encoding/exporting already, but is only enabled if you have a NVidia Quadro CX. Seeing as how that card costs more than my entire rig, I haven't had the chance to play with it, though.
