No, it was topical; check the quote history. The fate of other parodies of your con's commercial merely led me to believe that mine would end up the same way.* I nevertheless thought it appropriate to do so, because it follows quite nicely from "GIRUGAMESH!"

* I don't think you're the one directly issuing takedown requests (though, if you are, that plus your presence here might be an interesting dichotomy to resolve); however, I can't rule out that you, or some other official of Sakura-Con that might be reading this, would execute the necessary steps to get the clip taken down.

That's rather arbitrary (perhaps illegal?) use of DMCA notices - very counterproductive to remix culture arguments that need all their supporters to hold a hard line nowadays.

Sakura con is a shitty place to go for anime fans and I recommend no one give them business.

I just typed a sentence of inane BS with no justifications and I will state that I have never been to Sakura con. Are you going to take this forum post as a serious threat and request it be deleted because it may be paint Sakura con in a bad light?

While I can understand wishing to control intellectual property I cannot condone take down actions of parodies if your sole operating premise is roughly "we didn't like what they said"
