Anyway, to be quite frank I wasn't too impressed with most of the videos in the finals...there were a few that stood out, and none of them (that I saw) were particularly terrible, but overall I just didn't have very much feeling about the majority of the videos in there. I thought last year's VCAs were much more interesting, but hey, that's just me.

I almost think that people are now voting for Nostromo for Editor of the Year just to keep his streak going. Maybe he deserves it (I do think he's a great editor), but that's just my observation.

@Koop: You can do better. Kaman man.

The VCAs I probably enjoyed the most was for 2007, I'll agree with CrackTheSky about not really feeling the majority of the entries this year...I've never had to go through some of the categories like for this year because I wasn't getting any real feeling about it...one which I took to that I was disappointed to have not won anything was One Guitar.

I'd love to be of assistance for next year if it's required, but it's too early I think in volunteering services just yet :). One of these days I'll sit down and learn to make an AMV properly, but until then, I hope all of you keep up everything and we can do this all over in a year's time. So until then......

I say this year's VCAs is (mostly) the year of cutesy bishoujo girls! Seriously, a good chunk of the videos used that type of source which I'm not complaining at all! 8-)

I must admit that this years videos were varied and diverse, but the bar was SIGNIFICANTLY raised by most of the editors. They not only increased the technical aspect of their art, but succeeded in trying new things with great results. I may not have liked everything out there, but for their skill, I was impressed. Congrats to this years winners and keep up the great work.

Best Fun Video: Attack Of The Otaku
I freaking knew it. Dance wins it again. Just get rid of the "Fun" category already.

(voted it for Dance and Video of the Year)

Ok, after the past few years why haven't we learned that "Most Improved" needs to be eliminated.

Anyway, all is well that ends well. :book:
