I received an email regarding the donation drive and VCAs on the 24th.

I have specifically checked around 24th (you know, overlooking happens), but found nothing.

Yeah, e-mail eating happens, especially on international e-mailing basis :/

Based on an old suggestion from Knowname that we came across, we added a list of your "favorited" videos, filtered to show those that qualify for the VCAs, on the My Stars Tool page. If you've already nominated, you might want to visit the page again to see if there were some videos that you didn't download from LOCAL that you want to nominate.

Thanks doki for coding this feature.

("relevant" means the VCAs that correspond with that year's videos. So 2006's videos would be paired with the 2007 VCAs, etc.)

An ongoing trend, in my own opinion. Feel free to examine the numbers and come to your own conclusions.
Perhaps it's saying an opt-in system doesn't work.

Why DO we have an opt-in system anyway? Is it really possible to pick the best videos/editors if someone forgets/decides not to check the little box in their edit profile page?

That debate comes up every year. The reasons for/against have been hashed out in past years' threads.

I personally would have left the checkboxes alone (rather than reset them), but in the end it came down to what we thought Phade would have wanted. I'll probably leave it alone next time.

Semifinals now. First post updated once again. Props (as always) to doki for making the queue possible.

The queue support is awesome. Is there any way to have it also recognize the "you've already downloaded this" flag in a graphical way like the voting list does? No need to queue up vids you already have by default.

A graphical way? Like, perhaps, having the already downloaded videos appear in italics or something like that?

Also, I add all of them if you downloaded them or not, in case you deleted or lost some.
