Can anyone loan me ALL the Miazaki movies?

Postby Beowulf » Thu Feb 26, 2009 4:59 am

I recently got my heart broken and got the inspirado to do one of those big classic style Miazaki AMVs that everyone loves. Problem is, I don't have a single one of them, and theres not a single renting place in the immediate area. The only store around has Princess Mononoke and thats it.

This would be a favor upon favors, and would contribute to mending my broken heart. (rofl, thats a pitch)

I of course would treat them with appropriate care and ship them back to you as soon as vobs are ripped.

Anyone?

I've got a few of them (Laputa, Kiki, Mononoke, Spirited Away), and I don't mind lending them out. I'd think most people who have Miyazaki movies would have those ones anyway. I'll second the Netflix suggestion though.

I can provide everything that's been released in R1 except Castle of Cagliostro. (Nausicaa, Laputa, Totoro, Kiki's, Porco Rosso, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle)

I also have Pom Poko, My Neighbors the Yamadas, Whisper of the Heart, and The Cat Returns if any of those would help, too.

Drop me a PM if you're interested.

Following in the steps of Hsien, Vlad, myself and well...a million other editors I see? Then again, I could see your style making it something unique so I'm interested.

Unfortunately you don't live near me anymore, but it appears you've found a source. Good luck and sorry to hear about the love problems.

Exactly. Why bother with huge ISOs when you can just get a handful of Miyazaki AMVs to use for sources. :ying:
