Hey,
Arigatomina wrote:The last two times I donated through paypal, it took weeks (and an email asking about it) before it was registered on the org. Is someone going to be on hand process donations quickly?
Yes, absolutely!! I will even personally check that all donations have been properly recorded before running the "randomly choose a winner" script. (sorry about your previous troubles :-( )

We've made some cosmetic changes to the Donate page for the sake of user friendliness. All policies remain the same. Please let us know if anything breaks.

Actually there was a problem.
I had made a pledge of $180 distributed for 12 months and it ended up with some bizarre scheduled payments:
May 20, 2004 $180.00 MONTHLY COMPLETE

May 20, 2004 $15.00
Jun 27, 2004 $15.00
Aug 02, 2004 $15.00
Aug 27, 2004 $15.00
Nov 09, 2004 $30.00
Jan 11, 2005 $90.00
Total: $180.00

Those are how they were recorded. Luckily since all recordings were less than a year apart, you had no interruption of service. Now that we have multiple people keeping an eye on donations (instead of just one like in the past), odd things like that shouldn't occur again. Sorry for the confusion.

Any chance of simply giving you a check at Detour if the drive is still going? I'm one of those horribly Internet-paranoid folks (hence my random $5 donations), and it's really just easiest.

That aside, I have no idea what my sigtag is. In the seven years I've been here, I don't think I've made a forum post. o_o

Well... I was going to work on finishing off that student loan I've had hanging around for the last 16 years... but now it feels like a member of the family. Donations away!!!
