Most Artistic Video

Postby jasper-isis » Tue Feb 17, 2009 12:02 am

For the discussion and suggestion of the most artistic videos for this year's VCAs.

Category Description wrote:This AMV is the best showcase of that intangible but somehow still obvious quality of being artistic. Its editor has taken creative risks and stepped out of his or her comfort zone in order to create something truly unique.

It says last day to enter is 2/26/09. So osnar's video qualifies.

But my pick is:

That's the last day you can fix your vid's details and stuff to make sure they're elligible, the vid has to be released in '08

If you released any videos during 2008, they are most likely eligible for entry in the VCAs. Please head over to the Eligibility Page to make sure you're not disqualified!

The deadline for clearing up eligibility issues is February 26, 2009. If you're not cleared by then, then you will not be able to participate this year – so don't forget to make your fixes!

The Feb 26 deadline just means that you've gone to the qualification page and sorted out any eligibility issues and put yourself into the contest. It doesn't mean videos made between Jan 1st, 2008 - Feb 26th, 2009 are eligible. This is how the VCA's have been done for the past like... what, 7-8 years now? Goddamn I've been here too long ;_;

Durhurr. It will be a real shame if Megamom doesn't win something in this category.

EDIT: Because it's full of style and panache.

Not sure how to describe the artistic aspects; it simply . . . is?
