Album recommendation

Postby M1r » Wed Oct 15, 2008 5:41 pm

Well recently my computer has died (motherboard failure due to constant careless movements) and I lost like so much music.

I prefer hip/hop music when they don't rap about girls and money e.g. Lupe Fiasco. But then again I love Thousand Foot Krutch, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit etc. Those type of bands.

So what albums would you recommend me to get?

Thanks for reading.

Note: I hate music, where they meaninglessly scream into the mic...it hurts my ears, and in my opinion it's pointless...

Check out Atmospheres new album "When life gives you lemons, you paint that s*** gold."

While it's not their strongest release, it's still pretty good and a nice starting place...

eh..so along the lines of rapcore & nu metal?

- 55 Escape
- Clawfinger
- (hed) P.E.
- Rage Against the Machine

As for special albums, you have a pretty different taste than me, so it would be hard to recommened a specific album, not to forget...I'd probably recommened all of their albums to you ;)

get your ass some Saul Williams and Gorillaz cds!!

Like kev said Clawfinger is also a good catch, they have pretty brainy lyrics (don't know how to put it in words now) and they are pretty heavy too!! Get their 'A Whole Lot of Nothing' cd ;)

Something interesting for you to try: KMFDM - Tohuvabohu. It'll blow your mind, rock your face off, and jumpstart your heart.

You're talking about Trip-hop lol, anyway, the best hip hop i know is Nujabes & Nomak.

Also check Emancipator - Soon It will Be Cold Enough., you won't regret.

Your post contradicts itself. Have a good day, sir.

How the hell is Quarashi not on this list?

Quarashi - Jinx, especially for the track: Baseline.
