This is the setup I used while capturing KH2 footage a while ago:

It was pretty fun; wish I had a better photo of it.

I am not aware of that processor but of coarse you'll probably want a BE class one if your going to fit it into an htpc case. most are not big enough to fit full sized atx power supplies and max out at like 300wats (an average consumer computer takes about 250wats, 175wats with integrated video). Unless by htpc you simply meant small form factor than you may have an easier time. Also keep in mind that your processor heatsink/ fan may have a hard time fitting in there. I had an SFF case where the motherboard simply slid in under the powersupply, thus it was IMPOSSIBLE to fit an HSF that was at all bigger than the motherboard's faceplate. And assembling a true HTPC case can be VERY tricky. Take your time when you attempt it.

yeah I doubt you'll be able to get these components into an HTPC case due to the power requirements. There are some SFF cases that fit ATX Power Supplies though, but not the gargantuan 1000mhz ones.

not really worried about being small or efficient, it's basically going to be a mediaserver thats connected to my tv via hdmi.

also the x2 7750 is an am2+ based processor using the kuma core, its a black edition so its unlocked. basically the next step for the amd dual core processors.

Doesn't look like I've posted here yet.

Simple dual monitor set up, dunno how ppl edit without a second one, I use a 4:3 2nd so I have both ARs covered. 6 external hdds in total excluding the awesome model one Lockstock got from Chicago on the left. 2 behind laptop and 4 behind 2nd monitor, each for its own purpose =P
