well like most editors that edit with sony vegas, I find Resampling to be a big pain in the ass. After going through over 100 pages of reading trying to find a way to permenantly disable resampling. I finally found it. and I thought i might aswell share it.
Introducing Flicker Buddy!
Sometimes Vegas' Smart Resample doesn't do a great job of determining when a video event in fact needs to be resampled.
The Flicker Buddy is a quick way to set your flicker and resample

* If you have a certain set of media on the timeline you want to affect,
* select them and run the script. If you want to affect all media of a
* certain extension, just run the script. Set your options in the dialog
* box and click 'Apply'.

and you should be good to go!
