GoldCoast Video's 25% off ...

Postby post-it » Tue Dec 16, 2008 6:27 pm

. . .. GoldCoast Video's of Southdale, Mn, is closing its doors Jan 17th 2009.

the reason  ( no .. its not what you think -- they can't get it on time! )

. Those who are in the Bloomington - Edina - Richfield area are being forced
into buying from only "Fryes" in the MOA ( people who hate Anime )
and we must pay the price! (( Mall Of America ))

. the last things I ordered from them never arrived; Rando, Familiar II,
Shining Tears X Wind, and Lemon Angels Project were all canceled by
their senders. GoldCoast does not think that's fair and has had problems
with other titles as well.

. if you see it on the shelf, get it now while the prices are going down.

So ... you seriously think those are the only two places to get anime in the Twin Cities? Secondly, both are overpriced and places I never step foot into. Try Best Buy, better prices and an ok selection. Or even Diskland ... Otherwise, the best place is called the internet. Amazon, Overstock, Rightstuff, and so on.

.. GoldCoast tryed to do "a few of us" a favor a couple of years ago;
and like a good friend; you hate to see them leave-town reguardless
of the reasons why.
.. From back, when Vandreads 3rd series remained unreleased, that
store ( at least ) tryed to make an attempt at getting "it" ... the 3rd
series ... no other store has even bothered to see if "it had been released"
let alone, "if it were available under another name -or-
company for distribution." .. and, yes, GoldCoast did find it. Can your
store, Amazon, Overstock, Rightstuff, and so on, give you "that kind
of service?"
.. GoldCoast will be missed. :P
