If I were to be serious about this thread then I guess I'd go with gene splicing. I think it'd be cool to have some attributes of an animal I like...
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Well that was part of the point of replicators, to get rid of money as the necessity for survival. It allowed for people to obtain food, water etc free. So things such as starvation etc were no longer a problem and the world was driven less by a need for money and more for a need to better themselves through technology and exploration.

So the only arena of competition becomes warfare. Without money you can't prove success and therefore that you're better than other people.

I was going to say 'Personal Force Fields' but then I thought better of it. A world in which people could say whatever they want without fear of being punched in the face stands to turn real life into a giant internet forum. And that is a very, very scary prospect.

How has nobody mentioned sex robots yet?

Also, immortality.

Somehow having sexual relations with a metallic object that sounds like Stephen Hawking doesn't sound very appealing ...or maybe that's just me. :P
