I have failed.

I don't think I'll be able to submit anything tonight, even if you try to murder me, although I have tried to do a bit of work on it. Take it as you will :|

I say speed up a clip and make it fit to the song in length. It's better than dropping.

So that's a grand total of 4 people submitted. We'll be eliminating 1 person this round and moving onto the finals. :|

That really wouldn't work with the track I got. And even for my screwing-around-idea, it'd take a bit of work...

I'll try to get it in shortly, but I think there ought to have been a longer extension and perhaps a more planned transition. The forums were gone for longer than the extension we got. The coordinator dropped. This would obviously be a good time to go easy a little bit on the project.

Of course the real reason I haven't done it, as I already said twice, is playing too much Left4Dead this week. This is totally my fault. The problem, you see, is that I'm too socially-motivated. The project was a good outlet for that, and in Round 2 there was enough fun and good chemistry for me to really be excited for it. Right now though things have hit a snag, got a little bit messed up and serious, while at the same time many of my AMVing buddies are having way too much fun with a new game. Which of these am I more likely to put my hard-earned disposable at-home free time into? :amv:

I'm not trying to excuse myself, I am of course a total ass for not finishing it. But if 4 is all you got right now, maybe we ought to consider taking it easy a little bit.

While I still don't agree with all this... why not boost the deadline by say... 3 days. That adds almost a full week extra for all you people. So make the deadline Tuesday or Wednesday. Then have the results after Thanksgiving.

I for one am not gonna worry. I spent one hour on my video monday because... well... I didn't want to just drop so I tossed some random clips together that seemed to go well and voila. 1 min video done. :|

Seriously, I want to see the finished product now, if for no other reason, because I am intrested in seeing it thru to the end(although I am more a conosuer of the art than a co-ordinator, and god forbid my editing skills are best left to writing)

as far as specs go - the compilation will still be made with the same standards, i preffer lagarith over huffy, but both work.

Actually the back-up list got abolished because, well, it wouldn't be fair to those who've done all the previous rounds if somebody just hopped on in.
