Reading across a widescreen is seriously annoying...

Thanks for the old smilies :D
You could just resize your browser window...

I'm kind of glad that it isn't fixed width. Seemed like a huge waste of screen real estate. *has a 24" widescreen"

screwwachusaycorran.(jk)

The old width was definitely better. Seriously.

I think we're all going to get used to the new screen width. I'll admit I was kinda "eh" about it at first, but it's only because my eyes have been so used to a specific look for so long. But, I agree that it helps with screen real estate, and dynamic width is a more "current" web interface, when you consider the now wide range of displays.

Screen width is nice, I hope we'll see as much of a restoration of the old forum as is viable though for buttons at the top. I hate having to go through so many hoops to get to a single feature of the user control panel.

If you click on the forum profile from the org profile, it still says the forums are down. How about a Send PM function from the org profile?

One fairly reliable theory goes that the reason mankind is one of the most successful species on earth is that we are adaptable. When confronted with new climates, new ways of doing things, or just changes in our environment humanity can adjust and even thrive. It is why there are humans living on every single continent in the world.

And yet I can't help but get the feeling that somehow the average orgite has failed this basic test of humanity and is little more than a dinosaur staring up wondering when the meteor of change is going to fry him to a crisp. So here's an idea guys, lets give it more than a day or two before bitching and whining how horrible things are compared to the previous version, ok?

By the way, adjustable screen size is almost enough in and of itself to justify the upgrade, nevermind all that security crap. Those of you who liked fixed screen sizes disturb me. You're the type of anal retentive bastards who throw a fit if a single book in your house is 1/4 an inch larger than the others.

So I still can't connect to the FTP server. Will that be fixed tomorrow? Sorry don't want to seem impatient, but I would like to be able to upload the new video I made last week.
