well, i havnt seen a thread about this yet so i figure i'll start one, here's the ANN description for anyone who doesnt know about the series
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... hp?id=9089

well, i'll say that for the first 3 episodes the main characters was probably the most annoying person i could imagine. i kept watching just in the hope that someone would beat the crap out of him. However, from the 4th ep onward he actually becomes a halfway decent person and you can start enjoying the series. animation is pretty good, CG blends in pretty well, the robot animation reminds me a bit of burst angle. anyway, i beleive only the first 6 eps are out but i'm looking forward to the next ones, the last 2 eps have had a lot of comedic moments as well.
as for story, dont expect anything revolutionary, but anime doesnt need to be shakespeare in order to be enjoyed.

Grabbed this on a friend's recommend.

The show starts off annoying, it's sooooo easy to hate the little snot main character :)

But the show just keep on accelerating in pace too.

I've got 16 eps and have just power watched the first 5. I do think it's an ok show. Mecha is the main feature term here.
Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

This show is Vandread-esque of Gonzo's works. I like it.

It also comes served with Mamiko Noto as a main dish. I like...

Also, the names of these mechs are made of epic win:
Decieve, Apparition, Pretender, Vardant, PainKiller, and there's more that haven't been mentioned [one of the mechs is actually a man]

But for some reason, Linebarrel as the main mech doesn't sound at all as epic...They could have called it LineBacker but then it'd sound like a football anime. [LineBackers of Iron] but with mechs that'd be cool ^_^

Heh, ROBOT JOX! ^_^

"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV
