how to apply the beat effect?
im using sony vegas 7 and im tyring to put a beat effect on my amv its like if i want sasuke's pic to have a on and off light effect how will i do that?

Apply either Brightness/Contrast to the video clip or gradient map, depending on how you want the color to change. On the beat, split the clip and for every other clip turn off/on the effect. To get a better idea of where exactly the beat is it helps to zoom in on the timeline and see where the music line changes and gets higher.
You can also keyframa the brightness/contrast. Go to the effects and change the lighting as you like for different moments during the scene.
