OK, seriously, I can totally tell no one answering your question uses WMM. xD
When you put "ease in/out" in the list of effects.. It HAS to be AFTER Fade in/Fade out. Otherwise, it will only ease in or out when it fades.
And I think WMM is perfectly fine. Sure it can't do a lot of "cool, awesome, effects!!!" like the other programs... but this is the basic. If you can't learn to make good AMV on WMM, then you'll never make good ones on Vegas, no matter how many effects you throw on it. =/

no one is saying that you can't make good videos in wmm, I suggested what i did because you will have better control over your editing than "drop in panning" if you use a better program..
