Could you clarify what you mean by that. It sound to me that you can modifiy any part of a video entry in any way you see for promotional and advertising purposes which a lot of editors will have a problem with. I can see showing it or parts of it so long as it's not modificed from the original.

AMV-Canada may use/modify parts of an AMV for promotional and advertising purposes:

What we mean by that is that we can modify any parts of an AMV strictly for promotional and advertising purposes. However, we only use the term "modify" for modifications such as putting text on top of the video and we will always make a small footing at each scene to tell what AMV it is from and who made it.

Thanks for asking, we will clarify this entry.

Also note that, by only using the term "use", we would restrict ourselves to show integral representations of parts of or the complete AMV only.

The term "use" does not cover such things as scaling down the AMV in the video (width by height) to use it aside other AMV, which could serve to design an AMV wall that could be used in ads for AMV-Canada.

In no way will we attribute the work of others to ourselves.

Ah, I see. Thank you for the clarification =]
I have some more questions though, if that is all right
- How many entries are we allowed to submit?
- Seeing as your 13+ or General rating is based on the RCQ, I would like to know what classifies as such.
- How will the contest be judged? And will the prizes be shipped if the winner does not attend?

We don't have a maximum, so you can submit the number of amv that you want, as long that they are all from you, but don't exaggerate =)

It's easy, no hentai and not too much violence (scene of blood, etc.)
`Eclipse wrote: How will the contest be judged? And will the prizes be shipped if the winner does not attend?
We have 4 judges, we have a Score Sheet and we judge the originality, quality, atmosphere, anime/music, sync and the editing of the video.

I hope that I was able to answer all of your questions ;)
