Another question <.<

Okay, well, I've been doing pretty good as far as figuring things out so far but I'm stuck on an effect I'm looking for again.

How do you make the video gradually zoom into a specific point? Like, say I wanted to zoom gradually into a character's hand during a scene in the AMV. Just their hand. Not a centered zoom, but zooming in to a specific point.

And another. My music is skipping in Adobe Premiere despite sounding fine outside of it.

.... Someone told me I could use a black bmp instead of the strobe effect... is it supposed to show up as red x when you go to play the video with it included?

I'm just full of questions today.

Is there seriously no way to edit your post :(?

Anyway, starting a whole new project with the music solved the skipping but that's kind of a problem if you're trying to make an AMV. Apparently it just messes up somewhere along the line as I add video clips.

Let's see what I can do.

For the zoom into a specific point. If you are using Premiere 1.0 and up you should be able to select the clip you want zoomed. Go to effect Controls for that clip and you should see Motion at the top with a square with marks on the edges next to it. Clicking that box will put a crosshairs and those little resize points on the corners of the clip in the preview. Set a position keyframe.

Now scrub to the point you want the zoom to end. Grab the cosshairs and move the clip so that the part you want zoomed is in the center of the preview window. NOT centered with the crosshairs. This will set another keyframe. Then twirl down the Motion tab and place a Scale keyframe at the start. Then scrub to where you want to end the zoom, and increase the Scale percentage to how much you want. And that should do it.

Not sure about the music skipping or the strobe effect. Sorry

But if you have to make a new project because one fudged up, there is a solution aside from just starting over.

Open a new project and set it up as desired. Then import the ORIGINAL project into the new one. Toss the sequence into your current one and presto. You have your video back.

Nested sequences are your friends.

Hope that helps some.

Is your audio mp3? That could cause your skipping problems, it should be uncompressed wav.

It is mp3. Is there a way to convert it?

Assuming your output file is .wav, use your favorite media player to make sure it sounds correct, then inport it into your project and swap it out with the mp3 version.

I don't think I'm understanding. I typed zplayer in to the output area and it seemed like it did something but I have no idea where the file is if it's been made.

let's see if I can help ya out with that (assuming you got the gui)

open the program
next to BeSweet.exe, hit the open file icon
navigate to the folder where BeSweet.exe is and double click it.
the files are displayed in the window to the right of the folders
double click the exe and the note at the bottom should say "valid"
click OK
Image

do the same thing for input (selecting the mp3 you want to transcode to .wav)
output is a bit different...but is for the most part the same. The only difference is that you get to enter a name in the select file field.

change the encoding to wave (either type should work fine) and hit mp3 to wav
