No need to get a bunch of extra tools, Just use AVIsynth and V-dub.
Vivaldi wrote:Wait, you're making things needlessly difficult for him simply out of spite? Not everyone knows what AVIsynth is. And the guide doesn't even mention how to use it for anything other than DVD sources, as far as I know, directshowsource isn't even mentioned. (even if I'm wrong about that, my point still stands.)

Here's what a "point in the right direction" is:
-You give a short tip to put the problem in perspective.
-You give a link to resources where the person can do the proper research.
Here's you method:
Hand out red herring>Hopes OP searchs for it in the exact same way you do>Hopes OP choose the right link> Hopes the OP reads through a whole thread of technical jargon rather then just hitting the first "MKVtoAVI" download link he sees> Hopes that doom9 topic makes notable reference to AVIsynth>Hopes the OP even cares and decides to completely ignore specific advice given to him by an amv veteren.>Hopes OP can find sutible documentation for wtf AVIsynth even is and how to use it>Hopes this all happens before OP decides to give a crap about amvs and takes up sports. |
That's alot of "Hopes".
I'm afraid "Hope" isn't a stratagy. Hope is an ideal, it's how you want something to be. But it'll never happen if you don't f***ng do something.
Can you tell me how saying "Most people here use AVIsynth, and it's probably the easiest way. But there are a few issues with it. Read up on it and some alternatives here -insertlink-"
Gives less pride then "you should use -suchandsuch- Dewit."
