Help with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

Postby bleachnaruto » Sun Aug 31, 2008 12:08 am

Hey Guys,
This is my first time on the forums and I know for sure that I will get the right help here. I'm planning to make an AMV with the anime Claymore. I have downloaded all 26 episodes and I want parts from each one to make the AMV. The problem is, I don't want to pick the wrong parts so I want to work with the music at the same time. Could someone link me the best possible tutorial that would help someone in this situation. It doesn't have to be the exact topic but as long as it briefly explains anything related to this, I'm grateful. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, I'm not completely sure I get what you mean, most people here use Virtualdubmod (a free program, that's downloadable from this site.) to cut out promising clips from episodes, before putting it all in your editor.

We do have a few quasi AMV tuts that might help you, I'm just not quite clear enough on what you want.

btw, Using downloaded footage is against the site rules for a number of reasons, nobody's gonna flame\ban you for it since you just joined, but you probably don't want to go around talking about it unless you have a problem specificly relating to the fact that you used downloaded episodes.

Last word of advice, always read the stickys for each forum section (not that you don't already :P) or else you'll get flamed to high heaven.

Anyways, welcome to the org.

Thank you so much! VDMod is exactly the software I needed. Yeah, I read over my post and I know what you mean about it not being clear but you gave the perfect solution anyways. Oh wow....thanks a lot for the advice. I should probably read the stickys. One last question. What other alternatives are there instead of using downloaded clips for the videos :?

Buying the DVDs, ripping them to computer, and make a lossless AVI. Then edit with those.
