PS to Funky-Kun: Your AMV ran first in the first category. Kumoricon was almost 2x the attendance this year compared to last. That means that there were many anime fans who had NEVER seen an AMV contest run before. Your AMV, 'No Fate' soon held the 1000+ audience in silence.
Then: the last scene of the train running by at full speed - and cut to black.
At that moment, one woman's voice said 'That SUCKS!' (meaning the sad storyline, of course....)
A small moment of nervous laughter followed.

I later met that person by accident elsewhere at the con. I was telling someone else about the lone voice in the silence, and she introduced herself and said 'I didn't think that EVERYONE heard that...'

Anyways - well done!

That made me laugh almost as hard as the "who needs a king" amv. Made my day.
I love to wear absurd and totally impractical garments. What's more, I derive great pleasure from spending time with women for no apparent reason.
I'm just that kind of person. - Sousuke Sagara

Yeah, people don't seem to like bad endings. Still, that was the point of the video, the title says it all. :P
