Epic deepness with a dash of dark and a hint of actual character.

Me likes.

Should I post 'nother?

While 76 waits to post another, I'll post an Image Tale. Sorry if it's a bit long, I have a tendency to get a lil carried away and stuff

Why has this happened? She thought. Those very words echoed on her mind as she tried to remember what was going on. She couldn’t fully process it since it had happened all too fast. Her life flashing before her eyes has replaced what has transpired that lead up to the situation she’s currently in. All she remembered was a nice happy picnic with some friends and fellow students. She was enjoying a crisp apple under the cool shade of an orchid facing the nice refreshing breeze of the summer wind. Before she was able to finish her summer nirvana and go back to class, there was a loud low monotonous ringing. She stood up and looked around, though it seems nothing was happening besides the disturbing sound. Everyone around her tried hiding from the eerie tone by covering their ears and huddling down. The hideous noise grew louder as the world turned darker as if it were fading away. She tried to identify it’s source before it was too late but the noise interfered with her search. Before it turned to total darkness she looked upon the horizon, and saw them. A mob, lacking individuality and color, moving ever so slowly replacing the horizon with it’s filth. Then, total darkness.

She awoken there. Or at least gained consciousness. A sharp pain in her leg concerned her. She hadn’t the slightest idea what has caused it. The sound of moaning and flesh hitting glass distracted her from her mysterious wound and glanced where it was coming from. Zombies were everywhere outside trying their best to get in. And a tall handsome man with a zombie slaying bat. She gasped and didn’t know what to be more surprised at. “What’s going on? Where are we? Where is everybody?” She wanted to ask more questions but she wasn’t sure if she wanted to hear the answers. “We’re inside the school.” His voice was deep and filled with uncertainty. “As for the rest of your questions, your guess is as good as mine.” The stranger’s words didn’t provide much assurance, but she wasn’t surprised with his answer. “how did I get here? How did I get this wound on my leg?” She wanted those answers and the sound of her voice showed it. The stranger looked into her eyes as if she were crazy. “Don’t you remember? You lead me here.” There was a slight pause between them as it took the girl a moment to process what he had said. “As for your leg, the zombie you called your best friend ripped some of the flesh off your leg as you jumped over the fence.” No. She thought. It couldn’t be. It can’t be like this. The pain in her leg quickly took over her grieving thoughts. “What do we do now?” She didn’t really care for the answer, she wanted to take some time to comprehend what has happened so far. “First, let’s go to the Nurse’s Office and take care of your leg.” Those unexpected words made her quickly glanced at him, trying to hold back her tears. She couldn‘t tell what the tears were for since everything has happened so fast. “Then what?” Her words barely escaped her lips as she tried her best not to break out crying. It didn’t matter what the answer was to the girl as she felt that anything would make her feel better. “We wait.”

Nah, Milady, Twas' sarcasm out of pissed-offery.

I'll post another one now.

Not the best pic, but I'm going to work right now and don't have time to dig very deep.

Perhaps some sort of highschool love drama?

To prevent 76's head from exploding into a red, rage-filled mist, I've decided to temporarily stop lurking and make a contribution.

Image

Pink. Always pink.

She buys the same brand of lipstick every time. I know; I watch. She's remarkably unperceptive when it comes to noticing the infatuated stares of regular guys. Must've built up an immunity.

Her clothes are always perfect. Every outfit coordinated perfectly to her mood. Every thread stays in place to match her curves.

But she never sees me. Not even a casual glance while looking around during a boring lecture; her gray-blue eyes just float right past my seat, as though it were empty. Nothing.

I'll change that, though. Every last detail is planned out. She'll walk along the campus' main street after government class, like she always does. And every Friday, she stops to examine the newest styles they've set up on display earlier that morning.

I'll just happen to be walking by at exactly the right time. Oh, hi. I saw you in class. The dorms are pretty far away, do you need a ride?

And, not wanting to stretch her new skirt, she'll accept. Then we're on our way.

Wait, isn't the dorm that way?
I know what I'm doing, this is a shortcut.

She'll start sniffling, because of the trace amounts of peanut oil I put on the passenger air vent. (I've known she had an allergy to peanuts ever since that notice they sent out in middle school.) I hand her a handkerchief, just being polite. She takes it without thanking me.

And in about five seconds, the chloroform takes effect.

We'll have so much fun together.

Let me give this a try. [edit]Hakunin has beaten me, though I was still working on this. Hope no one objects to my post since I was almost done when I saw his post. there is no edit button, I pretyped this on wordpad :/ [edit] Also, it's a bit lengthy, so sorry if the small text strains your eyes

He hated her very existence. The way she walks. The way she talks. Her clothes. No, not her clothes, But how she exists in them. He couldn't stand her being. The way she wears her personality. It sickened him to his very core. He wanted to tear her apart and set each limb on the four corners of Earth and throw the rest where no creature would be able to rot from her vile meat.

There was one thing that kept him doing that. There was one thing that made him her slave. One thing he worshiped about her and tremble every time he experienced it. One thing he would give his life for, no matter what happens. One thing that made him wanted to be with her even after death. Or until that thing ceases to exist, and he wouldn't let that happen. It was his Heaven on Earth. It's what made him forget about the Hell that is the rest of her.

It was the way she smelled. No. It wasn't her. It was the scent of her hair. It was the hair of an Angel in the Garden of Heaven who hair was made that of the fragrance of the Heavenly Flowers. And the scent of her feet. Her feet's aroma was that of the Breeze of Heaven's Ocean as if they were baptized with it's Holy Water. And her neck. Her neck was as if it was touched by God Himself. There was nothing more pleasing, more satisfying than the fragrance of her neck. Every time he was blessed with the experience of smelling her neck it was as if he died and went to Heaven.

They were on a shopping spree for swimming apparel. He didn't like the idea of sharing his Gift from her, but as long as no one noticed he didn't care. He had tried to hide his obsession with his Gift from her by acting out his obsession through reluctantly and shyly agreeing with her. She has always thought it was cute, and one of the reasons she likes being around him, despite his true intentions. She has always respond to his answers with a smile of gratitude, which always made him blush making him more cuter to her.

She saw one of those old fashioned swim suits she seen in those old western flicks at school. "what do you think of this one?" She expected the usual mumbling reluctant response from him. While she waited for his response she tried to imagine herself in the suit and see if it matched her body type. She couldn't see herself in the frilly old fashioned bikini, probably since she hasn't heard from her reluctant advisor. she could hear a small crowd of people gathering and other people elsewhere gasping. She turned around and saw the small gathering. It bothered her since she couldn't find her emotional backup within the crowd. She tried calling for his name hoping he could hear and comfort her from the commotion, but there was no response. She finally got in front of the crowd and saw what the others gathered around for. There was blood and shopping bags splattered everywhere.

An apparent hit and run. The site of the catastrophe quickly replaced her search for her companion. Those shopping bags look familiar. She thought. I just bought some of those earlier today. Most of those. Oh no. She looked for the body and it didn't take her long. She saw the body as it laid lifeless. It was wearing the same clothes as her dear friend. She cried out his name so that he may hear her voice and get up. She told him to get up because he wasn't dead. She told him to wake up with all her might. There was no response. She tried to go to him to go wake him up, but the people in the crowd held her back. The strangers took her to a bench and told her to wait there, though she wouldn't listen. They held her back as they tried to comfort her but she didn't listen. she saw the ambulance drive up to where he was lying. She couldn't see what they were doing as the crowd blocked her view. They were there for a couple minutes and drove off. Some police officers walked up to her and asked if she knew the person. She only asked where were they taking him.

He awoken in the hospital bed, though he didn't know it. He looked to the side of the bed and saw her there crying as if someone has died. "Why are you crying?" She glanced to where the voice was coming from and saw him looking at her in a weird way, thought it also may be that he was covered in gauze and casts. "You're okay!" She choked out and quickly gave him a hug. The pressure from her body caused him a great amount of pain. Then he smelled the sweet aroma of Heaven and didn't have a care in the world. "Yes, I guess so," Those words escaped through his breath as if nothing has happened.

Here's an image for the next tale, if anyone wants to take a shot at it. Just like 76, not one of my best pics, couldn't find them in all the clutter :/ may hap I should organize my pics or something

Respond to 8-bit's new pic:

I found myself in a new world, not really scared... more just disgusted. I wondered how I got here and how I was going to escape. Then I realized the true beauty of this place. I figured I'd just stay here forever, because it seems like time stands still here, not at all like back home.

Short one that's kinda stupid XD. Not really in the story telling mood right now I guess.

Bumping with content. As the last pic is still in play, I'll use that.

"Damn..."

His head still hurt. Last time I'll ever mix tequila and rum...

Suddenly, his eyes opened and he sat up with the kind of speed only accessible through fear.

"What is this? Where am I?" His frantic gaze fixed on the figure of a surprisingly well-endowed pre-teen girl sitting casually on a branch. "And who the hell are you?"

A voice rang through his head. [I will answer your last question first, and your others in time if I so decide. I am a denizen of this world. I take this form because I find it comfortable, and because it amuses me that your species can survive such a fragile childhood.]

"What the hell is this? What's going on?!"

[So many questions. We are far from your tiny sphere of dirt. Welcome to the Far Realm.]

He closed his eyes in an attempt to block out the confusion. "Okay, I'll just ignore that bit for now. What are those smiling things over there?"

A wave of mild interest rippled through the air and made the leaves clink unnaturally against each other. [Smiling things?]

He gestured blindly in their general direction. "Over there, by the tree's trunk."

The interest turned to amusement. [Ah. Those are like your world's fruits. Except that these create psionic feedback so that predators will see them as something undesirable to eat.]

"Well, that would explain- wait." He looked at the girl/monster/thing. "What do they look like to you?"

[You don't want to know that.] She (it?) smiled, revealing a set of impossibly long needle-like teeth in a perfectly alternating pattern.

His jaw dropped, and he would have run away had his legs not staged a sudden revolt against his mind.

[Staying still is unsafe. Follow me.]

Her shoulders stretched out behind her into a pair of wings that looked as much like a fairy's as a bat's, and she drifted away.

Twitching at every noise, the unfortunate man hesitantly followed the creature into the alien wilderness.
