Well CoolEdit and FruitLoops are different programs. Fruitloops is a loop generator. CoolEdit is a waveform editor. They don't do the same thing, so they can't be compared. Unless some how CoolEdit has changed since the last time I used it

Well, what you could do is use CoolEdit to cut a track/song into determined lengths, and place them in FruityLoops and sample them again. I don't know why you'd want to do that, but you can. Personally, i use CoolEdit for everything. The only thing I use FruityLoops for is to create my own music. I also use NoteWorthy Composer, but that's MIDI.

Well I know they're different programs and I only knew about Blaze Media Pro. I only knew a little about Cool Edit and was sent a pm about fruityloops as a suggestion for editing but knew nothing about that one...
Cool Edit seems like an easy drag and drop style prog and works with a large amount of formats. So I can mix my recordings, gp3 files and sound effects that are on my comp as well...No it hasn't changed as far as I know...But thanks for the heads up on fruityloops...I had decided on Cool Edit earlier this morning...
