Potential Projects for AWA 14

Postby MCWagner » Wed Jul 09, 2008 11:27 pm

Hey everyone,

As y'all know, AWA is coming up soon, and we always like to screen some of the new hotness in AMV multi-editor projects in the VAT each year. This year we're actually running a little thin; several major project series are taking a break (or going in a direction we can't screen for the daylight hours). We've got a couple projects lined up, but I'm ready to consider a few more to round out the track.

Requirements:

1) Daylight friendly. Doesn't have to be sweetness and light, but it can't contain anything that'll have my boss looking to lop off my head. Being America, you can go a little heavier on the violence, but no nudity & no sex & no really graphic language in the lyrics.

2) Finished or VERY nearly so.

3) Length between 15 minutes and 1 hour. (Roughly)

I'll look over the project if you make it available for download and let you know if we're interested.

Lemme know if you've got a project you think might fit, or point me towards a contact if you've seen someone else's project that you think is particularly awesome.

The Frenchie's have been busy this year and I've been scanning through my dloads and I just cant find links to the vids, I have a funny feeling many were not hosted on local. But I recall a number of pretty good french MEP's this year... and since the first one was pretty damn good this video should be *crosses fingers* if it ever gets up o.o?

Although they are not the hour long saga's of amvhell or DDR meps they might work ...

*edit* eeh found another link, I was just looking under the wrong profiles)

would having "fucked up" in the lyrics on one track 15 times be considered graphic language?

You could always try to censor AMV Hell/0

Just put a big black box over everything or hand out complimentary blindfolds upon entering :P

Anyone who considers 'fuck' graphic language is pretty much fucked up.

Wagner, if you see, 9.11 is supposed to be premiered in Expo. I said I'd allow fuck, but that Expo Rules apply, so am I contradicting myself?

Anyhow, 9.11 is just a continuation of 7.53 and 8.47, however, that means the full project should be the size of an ordinary video.

Thank you.

The prequel and sequel are also good, but I don't know if the content DQs them or not.

That's not really a good con MEP, since enjoying the project relies on understanding the concept behind it. You can use it if you want, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Idk if that one is very appropriate, I think the first one is more friendly to the young ones.
