Maburaho

Ok I looked through 15 pages in the series discussion, no sign of Maburaho.

No I didn't use search just so I can get a reading of every time the name was uttered on the site :)

Any way, been watching this one recently, just curious if it truly did slip through the cracks or something.
I've found it a fun enough show. It has a slight plot twist that's not 100% over done. Even if it does indeed feature atypical cute school girls, and the occasional panty shot.

The show has to it's credit at least focused on the original plot, and not wandered all over. I'm at ep 12 of 24 and interested to see how it concludes.

I want to take the 5 seconds here though, to ponder, why doesn't staff automatically just initiate a thread for every damned show that exists, and in that way we the masses don't have to wonder about "is there a thread for show X".

And I wish they wouldn't lock the darn things. It makes it a pain to comment on a series, in the series section, if you made the mistake of not participating because you had never had the pleasure of watching the show at that time.

Oh well.

Judging by the majority of the content in this post, I think it belongs in Site Feedback.

I'm thinking I might take that option next time too.

Or, you know, it could be a post in the Series Discussion forum, and a seperate post in Site Feedback.

I still think the plot is idiotic. I like it, but it's idiotic. I mean, a guy who can only use magic 8 times? And girls that want him for his all powerful genes, a girl who actually loves him and one that wants to kill him? Stupid... so so very stupid.

Sounds like 9 out of 10 anime series to me :)

Guy that has something about him that sets him apart. Several girls want him, some hate him, and yet love him all the same. That was for instance just as possibly Negima as it was Rosario+Vampire :)

I enjoyed it because it was in addition to all the other things it was, a sappy romance drama. I like sappy romance drama animes. It makes my own life seem less annoying.

The most annoying part is the ending.

It demands a 2nd season or continuation instead of just 'little sister' hanging in the sky for an ending...

Personally, the "I don't have to marry you if I KILL YOU FIRST!" premise is good. I've NEVER heard of a harem anime where one of the harem candidates wants to murder the protagonist very very badly...

Again, ending sux though...

Yeah the whole murder thing was strange, I mean... for some reason I really saw it coming but it still surprised me anyways.
