Ok, first of all, Ishbalan, that's just plain awesome of your cousin. XD
And secondly, I'm quite glad to hear that someone is obviously going to pick up (or already has picked up) this series. At least now I know I can be patient and wait for this to hit American streets, lol.
Thanks much for the info.

Season 2 is shit because it's half filler to draw the story out to a full season. Seriously, if 2nd went at the same pacing the first season did it would have only been about 10 eps or so. Which kinda makes sense, the first season followed the games fairly closely while the second added in original shit. They're done with the games now so the third season will probably be all original. Which I imagine means A) it'll be at best vaguely related to the first two seasons and B) it will suck.angelx03 wrote:I don't know why people called season 2 shit; they obviously set wrong expectations of the series as it's FAR more than "killer cute girls". Seriously watch season 2 as it does a damn good job explaining the essence of the main characters' motives and resolves as well as the real reason why all of the stuff happened in season 1.
Although I suppose the second season is worth it just to find out who the real villain is. And a character choosing to stay conscious while being disemboweled was pretty creepy.

It's not that bad. Some of the voices are excellent. Ex. Mion/Shion (Perfect)LeapofFate wrote:Higurashi dub is a no no
Keichi's voice is good. Satoko's could use some work. Rika's voice is what is to be expected, high and childlike, same girl as Nunnally from Code Geass.
Ooishi's voice is completely different but still fits the character.
Tomitake is Kyle Hebert.
The DVDs are worth buying just for Rena's voice. I love her line:"It's so cute. I wanna take it home with me!" in her ridiculously high voice. I immitate it at school to creep people out.
