rendering amvs??? black screen????need help

ok well im pretty new to the whole amv making ive made about 4 and lately ive been having a problem rendering them everytime i try to render my recent amvs a black screen will pop up where some edited clips were. i was sony vegas 8.0 and nothings really changed in my amvs so i dont think its the format thing i use like avi wmv and stuff cause those havent changed ive been using the same thing in every amv. i heard somthing about if u edit a clip to make it shorter or longer that it can go black when u render that and some parts in my amv where made faster but there where also other parts of my amv that were black where i didnt change the time. so in short i REALLY NEED HELP with rendering videos so this iratating black screen doesnt pop up if u need more details just ask.

tried reinstalling your codecs?

or exporting uncompressed?

well the first question is always:

1. what are your source clips... cause YES it could actually be that... even if you have been making amvs the same way all the time.... Compression (or codec) and container please...

the second question is always:

2. did you change the speed of your clips?
The answer to this is to right click the clip and go to properties and disable the resample.

Since you answered the second question, please do answer the first question...
