Arjuna is this Series I rented. I only the saw the first volume, but it's great. I reccommend it. If anyone has seen it, please, give me your insight on the topic.

excellent soundtrack (yoko kanno!!), great story, stunning animation and character design. I got to see a preview of it at AXNY and pre-ordered the DVD the next day. I can see some people complaining that it's too environmentaly preachy but that didn't deter my enjoyment. One of my fave new us releases of the year.

Arjuna is one of the newest titles I've been very curious to see for myself, but after spending nearly half of yesturday reading the posts on this thread at AnimeonDVD - (http://forums.animeondvd.com/dcboard.ph ... ype=search), I am finding it very difficult to decide whether it is worth getting at all. I wish I could rent it first but the only taste I have to see of it is from the NewtypeUSA preview disk.

It'll take more than just one episode for me to decide what to think of it. This is not a series that falls between "it's good/bad, but..."

Arjuna is very much a "love it" or "hate it", like the review said. And based on what I've read, I'll be surprised if any of you will still stand behind it as one of your favorite shows (or at the very least to say that you still like it).

Wish I could comment more about it but let's wait and see after disk 2 comes out.

After this disscussion, I re-watched the first 6 episodes again last night. I'll stand before this anime until the cows come home as my favorite release of 2002 behind FLCL.

I've only heard about this one from a friend who has literally watched 90% all animes to hit the U.S. She is my anime oracle. She warned me against it. Said it reminded her of Captain Planet.

The only credit I give Arjuna is that it's got nice animation.

It's completely annoying and stupid after that. Just ugh, it could have taken a nice turn. The woman looks like a completely retard in her get up. Then the fucking dialouge turns into a nature preserve.

These dam workers are talking about how we wouldn't need so much electricity if we only turned the lights off when we're not using them, or did one less load of dishes in the dish washer, took shorter showers. Fuck they literally went down a list of things you can do to protect the environment.

The original name is actually Earth Girl Arjuna, so that should hint you somewhere.

You said fuck twice! I've only seen the first three episodes, and yeah, her suit is the ugliest ever. Also, I take 45 minutes showers... You probably wonder what I do for all that time...
