I can't believe I made it...wow, my first con entry and i made it. *feels a huge sense of accomplishment* And the list of other editors that made finalist makes me want to buy a plane ticket and go

I just posted the editors name as to leave to a mystery to which vids made the finals. I found more conventions were doing this and thought it was a good idea so you were left with a suprise at the con.

Anyways good luck to everybody.

I'm still trying to decide my Coordinator's Choice. Eventhough this is only my second year running AMA, out of the 4 years I've attended the con this is the best group of videos I've seen at AMA's contest. Even some of the overflow videos are really good. For the time restriction for the contest the videos didn't make the final cut eventhough it had a passing score to be in the finals. It was really tough to cut out some of the vids this year. I tried cuting down the times to the intros and credits and manage 35 of the 62 entries this year.

Both of my vids are in! It's also the second con in one year I've made the ballot!

HOWEVER...

I have to run up against Autraya and Vlad in Drama.
I'm in Comedy against Ranmafan477 (hopefully with a new video

) and JaddziaDax (who I see as the "ringer" if last year was any example).

These are just the producers whose material I am familiar with. I'm sure this will be another tough contest...

deffinately nothing to worry about from my vid, except the sneakyoldmantypepersoncalledVladorDad will give you a run for your money

I'd guess my vid only barely scraped in as it's not designed for any of the categories at this con(Drama is as close as it could get... not that it isn't dramactic... but... I can't say 'cause err no spoilers for the audience) so there is very little chance of it winning anything, but it does give more'variety' to the screening (which is why it was entered in the first place).
So if you entered a pure 'drama' vid you're already doing better 8-)
