I absolutely love some of the music done by Sequentia.

Their albums of music from the Aquitanian monastaries is awesome, and unique.

See: Lux Refulgens, Aquitania

They also do incredible music by Hildegard Von Bingen.
Spooky, yet wonderful stuff!

look for Sequentia on Amazong, or such places.

The opening 30 seconds of "Pills" by Primal Scream has some good chanting. Kinda sounds like those Monks that did that "Chant" CD a few years ago. The rest of the track is stunningly good, albeit, without anymore chanting (and a lot of cursing).

I'm surprised that no one's mentioned Sev. You know, that band on the Pepsi Blue commercials that have invaded all of our lives for the past two months. I suppose that song ("Same Old Song") would fit what you're looking for, but I won't recommend it. Sev is the most evil band on earth right now, and I swear, I'm going to destroy them.
