HELP! I'm new at AMV-making and AMVapp isn't working!

I downloaded exactly as it said to and everything, to the letter. But everytime I run the tests to make sure it's working right, the majority of the tests fail. I don't know what is wrong. I use a Windows Vista against my will, and cannot change that. T.T Please, someone help! Here's a screenshot of what the problem looked like:

The tests don't work on Vista, but everything should still run normally.

it's a known issue, so no stress.
if you want you can make a test clip yourself by filtering a random avi file just to make sure avisynth works.
