ok does anyone known of any anime conventions in toronto area cause i like don't leave my house i do i just don't like look into this stuff lol if anyone canhelp thxs

It's a little late but there was the Toronto AnimeCon in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on the 15th of March.

Yay~ Anime North 08! Unfortunately i will not be there this year :( (It starts today :O) I will however be attending Ai-Kon in Winnipeg and Kita-Kon in Thunder Bay.

PS is it just me or is there too many conventions in Toronto?

I think I might go to the one in August. Or I might go to Montreal. Maybe both? I'll be dressed as Nekozawa from Host Club. Look for me there.

Northern Anime Festival is fairly cheap. I think their rates are about $30 for a weekend pass. It's fairly small at around a couple hundred people though.

The only con in Canada with a dedicated AMV room with 500+ seating capacity :D

One day they will rent out theatres for amv contestes ... that would so fuckin sweet :3
Seein ur amv on a huge screen with 7.1. I'd die happy after that.
