AE Text Animation

Post by Toshi.des » Wed Apr 23, 2008 1:43 am

I might just be looking for a particle tutorial or something, not quite sure.

I'm wanting to have some text fade in, but through something like a fractals or smoke, and then to be blown away like dust. The dust is something I think most use particles but since I've never done it I don't really know.

I've taken a look at some of Aharon Rabinowitz tutorials, from creative cow, but none of them seem to be a complete transformation of the text, just animation of the text.

Any ideas?

Also if you know some tutorials about having objects ( hence text ) transform into particles, it would be very helpful.

Thanks, this will help me out a lot.

There's so many different things you can do in AE that finding these sometimes turn out better than what I originally aimed for.

Though I'm still looking for something that can convert objects or text into particles, so if anyone comes across something of the sort please mention it.

Particular can do that, just set the emitter to layer, and make sure the text is in its own separate comp.

If this doesn't work, pm me there is a bug in my version of particular that I can help you fix
