Gah, this is like the only series I have to avoid looking at blog sites since spoilers for this series are far too sensitive to get spoiled by! :x

Yea I'd stay away from spoilers. Goro's shows are usually the kind that use a lot of suspense or cliffhangers. Removing the unknowns pretty much will ruin the show. I just made a separate R2 thread for those of us who want to chit chat on it. Especially useful since Code Geass season one will have its USA broadcast soon.

Release details for Code Geass which you might need to read a few times to understand it:

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/convent ... ertainment

As the video issues were fixed, Napton screened the trailer for one of Bandai's most anticipated new anime. On August 5, the first DVD of the alternate-future giant robot series Code Geass will be brought out.

For this series, Bandai will turn to an unusual release schedule, and simultaneously bring out a US$79.99 collector's box, a “Season 1, Part 1” bundle priced at US$39.98, and two traditional stand-alone DVDs marked at US$24.98 and containing five and four episodes each. The limited edition collector's box will contain the first volume of the Code Geass soundtrack, one of the Sound Episode drama CDs, and the first volume of the Code Geass manga. The second segment of the first season, containing episodes 10 to 17, is set to come out in October with the same three different versions. The final eight episodes of Geass' first season are on track for January.

I'm not so much disappointed in Lelouch as I am with C.C. I know her voice actor can do better than that.

the trailer is crap i think the voice acting sucks Loulou sounds like ichigo from bleach dub and it had no build up at all. i think alot of ppl on this site could have done a way better job of that.

Im not even going to consider watching the dub i dont want to spoil to show for my self the jap version is just great.

Code geass dub might end up like the death note dub....Horrible

LMFAO. I listened the promo. Lelouch's VA should have been Suzaku FFS.

Yeah, Lelouch sounds kinda weak in this dub. Lloyd sounds like a noble who takes everything very seriously... which is to say not Lloyd at all.

personal assessment:
Lulu: eh...I like Johnny, but I don't think his voice quite suits lulu. Liked his voice at the end though
suzaku:
viletta:
Lloyd: definately different, it'l be interesting how he pulls it off later on but so far
Kallen: eh, might get better but I'm not too crazy on it right now
Deithard:

others: not important enough or not enough context to decide
also...bad adult swim. How dare they cut ALI PROJECT short for commercials?
