Who is planning on going to SAKURA-CON?

Postby Vlad G Pohnert » Tue Nov 12, 2002 2:37 am

Just wondering who is planning on going?

I considering it at the moment (maybe even drive there!) but only if I can find someone to split the room cost with....

I wish I could go but sadly a college budget is hard enough as is and I need to save money if I want to go to AWA for a change this year. I believe my best friend (who lives up in seattle) may be going.

I'm planning on it, but don't know if I'm getting a room, or crashing with friends yet.

I really really wanna go, so I'm trying my hardest to go. But it's $300 roundtrip from Baltimore to Seattle >< Plus my mom has to go, hotel fees, etc. Looks like Christmas presents are taken care of ^^;;

Well, I'll see how things shape up... If I do end up comming and driving, I would bring my AMV protable server..... AMV parties all night (ok, maybe not quite that radical, but...)

As far as I am concerned, everyone should be at Sakura-Con 2003, but I'm biased...

Yeah, I'll be going. Look for the (or a) guy dressed as Setsuna from Angel Sanctuary (I.e. Teared up shirt, leather pants, angel wings, bandages ect.)

see you all there!

I'll be there too. Didn't get my amv in on time so it isn't entered (might be a good thing...). Looking forward to the 2 hour drive ^_^. And in case you missed it, Fred "Piro" Gallagher will be there... April is gonna be a fun month...

Heh, I forgot about this here old topic till you dreged it up, D.

Well, with SakuraCon now just 30 days away, it seems like a good time to bring it back.

I reserved my room last night, definitely going barring a major disaster.

Yay for 10 hour, 500+ mile drives.

...Idly wondering if my amv entry will be shown or not...no matter, either way...

Now, do I just bring the laptop + an 80 gig firewire drive, or the 400 gig anime/amv server from home... :twisted:

The lap top , why drag the server... At this point I'm not sure if I'll go since I not sure about splitting costs for a hotel room (can't get a commitment from a few friends yet... My drive is like 15 hours so flying might be the best option... My server is 600 gig and I'm not bringing that down!!!!
