Question. If I just finished a full amv [3:15] that uses an ocremix song, and I plan to release it on it's own... and send it to con's etc... can it also be included as part of the MEP? Is that seen as an okay thing to do?

This sounds like a cool idea (I was thinking of doing an OCR video anyway). I'd like to join.

Is there a time table of any kind by which we should have picked a song/anime?

I don't understand what you mean... I asked if there was a time table, as in, a date before Oct 1st by which we need to have chosen a song. I already have downloaded a number of the large OCR torrents, it just might take me a little while to decide what song I want to use.

Its cool if a video made for this project is used in a contest but
im trying to avoid having any submited that have already been uploaded on this site.
That was everything in the project will be new.
If you aren't gonna upload the solo video here before the project is out,
then its ok to submit part to the project.

Id like to see the video btw ^_^

There is no particular time you have to decide on your sources
You are okay as long as you can decide on something and have it done before the deadline.

MEP Update: I decided on the length I want for the project
and it will be aound 20 minutes.
Right now there is room for 5 more people to join before the sign up will be closed.
Any one else that is interested, be sure to sign up soon.
