Itunes playlist: What have you played the most

Postby x_rex30 » Tue Feb 12, 2008 9:47 pm

One of my songs already hit 100 times, and thought it may be interesting to post. I don't know of other players keep track, but since I tunes does, I thought why not list. If you have itunes and use it, search by most played song and post the top played songs. I'd like to see, maybe check to see what about the songs make it so interesting to you. So this isn't just asking for your favorite songs, it's asking how often you play them.

Here's my list of top played songs.

lol. .your song with 100 hits is the same one my friend loves to hum/sing along to in my computer class. . .I found the song quite annoying after awhile (no offense ^^; ).
But anyway my most played song is What Hurts the Most by Rascal Flatts. (as for the others I don't know. I'm too lazy to load up Itunes right now)

This is a very, very poor indicator of what I typically listen to, since I hardly ever use iTunes and my library consists of over 5,000 songs, and I'm always shuffling around from one genre to the next.

"White Noise" is just a 10-minute block of white noise I generated in Audacity that I would turn on and loop when I went to work so I could burn-in my new headphones.

Meh doesn't listen to music with iTunes, but last.fm says:

1. Puscifer - Momma Sed
2. Puscifer - Vagina Mine
3. Staind - Yesterday
4. Blonde Redhead - Symphony of Treble
5. Blonde Redhead - Oh James
6. Puscifer - The Undertaker (Renholder Mix)
7. My Bloody Valentine - Only Shallow
8. Puscifer - The Undertaker
9. Puscifer - Sour Grapes

Eh? That doesn't describe it well at all :|

Well, my Itunes probably doesn't describe it well enough, because I lost all my play counts multiple times for various reasons. Glad my last fm profile keeps track of it though (since march 1st).

But here's my current Itunes list anyway:

This thread actually got me to start tracking my playback about a month ago. Interestingly, I noticed that I don't tend to loop much, and mostly listen to music by albums. And there are very few albums in the last month that I listened to more than once or twice.

1. David Sylvian - The Heart Knows Better (remix by Sweet Billy Pilgrim) - 19
2. Pilot - Gde Ty (Where Are You) - 10
3. Kirpichi - Vasin Rap - 8
4. Pilot - Palach (Executioner) - 7
5. Pilot - Gotika (Gothic) - 7
6. Pilot - Derevenskaya (Village song) - 7
7. Kirpichi - Govno-Pesnya (Shit-Song) - 5
8. Akvarium - Pesnya Dlya Novogo Byta (Song for a New Living) - 4
9. Kirpichi - Kapitalizm - 4
10. Delfin - 26.10.02 - 3

This belies my actual listening range quite a bit. Just that Russian rock (e.g. PilOt) and rap/alternative (e.g. Kirpichi and Delfin) is something that's a bit more appropriate to listen to while studying or doing other things.

Otherwise I listened to 607 tracks in the last month, only 109 of which I repeated more than once.
