Congrats to all the winners in this years contest.

I will post a full list of the finalist videos and links to them later on today or tomorrow at the latest.

The contest was amazing this year. Thankyou for making this one of our best contest yet at AMA. With an amazing 62 entries this year. The Upbeat category we had a tie for 1st place. So this is the first time I have ever seen this happened. I felt instead of the judges deciding, I would let the audience decide sense they were the ones that voted originally. I had a great time hosting it. I want to thank everybody for submitting. I'm looking forward to next year, as I will have something new to add to the contest and another type of amv contest. I will be contacting the editors that won about their awards and giftcertifcates.

Just a reminder a little over 2 months until the deadline. We had an awsome show last year and I would like to see another amazing turn out of videos. The more amv's to choose from, hopefully the better.

We are push the deadline extremly close to the con. If you have your video finished don't wait to send it in. We don't want to try to judge 80 videos in 2 days. If we have to it can't be helped. (lots, and lots of Caffeine) The more videos we get in ahead of time the better we can judge them and not rush the judging. Reason for the deadline being this close this year is to give the people that need extra time to finish, the time they need and not need to wonder about if there is going to be an extension.

Thanks.

Trailers depends on what you are going for. Put down the category you think it would fit best and I'll discuss it with the other judges if we think it is the approiate category. If not we'll email you back with what we think is best suited for. Then we'll discuss some more from there.

The entries are starting to come in now. You still have about a month left to get your entry in for this years contest. I'm looking forward to seeing a whole bunch of great amv's this year like I did last year. I'll try to have the award cermonies recorded and post it online to announce the results.
