Sony Vegas rendering trouble

Postby vinyaya » Thu Apr 10, 2008 8:05 pm

Hi, I've been using Sony Vegas 7 for months now and I have run into this problem before but now it is not getting fixed.
I have lag-lossless DVD footage which in one section of the timeline, doesn't render correctly- some clips come in the rendered vid but there are clips missing and instead there are only black spots there.
Anyone know how to help? ^.^ Thanks.

huh, they usually blank out for me if i use the play back speed O.o

however try using the other one you right click on the clip and choose properties...

of that doesnt work, find another way to time your clip? or try changing the speed in another program?

Have you got the problem solved pikashipper4eva?

I ran into the same problem just today, slowing down wont effect the rendering but as soon ive speed them up the parts keep blank.
Either by playing with the properties or velocity band will work. Thats a major problem for me now, because the song is kinda fast.

Any help or suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks in advance ^^

It did help actually just by making the clips slower but I also had to clip out some parts so that the clip fit into the time frame. ^.^

Just a suggestion for you, for a fast song, you shouldn't speed up clips to the point where Vegas can't render them because that is very fast. XD If u've masked or done some FX with the the clip, if u want to skip frames, just cut some interframes out =0 it'll break up the clip but I think it'll make it more fluid looking than having the whole thing so really fast...just a suggestion ^^;

Thanks a lot CrackTheSky, way to easy actualy ^^

works just fine ^^

you shouldn't speed up clips to the point where Vegas can't render them because that is very fast. XD

The problem is, everything beyond 1.000 couldnt be rendered anymore...even 1.001 and i got blank parts. Not the whole video will be a race tho, but there are parts where i just have to speed up a few clips or it would just look wrong ^^

Anyway, thanks a lot for the support ^^
