I won't spoil anything, but coming from somebody who has been following the manga very closely, I have to say that the anime adaptation was fairly good. I loved how the second OAV really got Sakura to show some emotion for once - something that the series before it had failed at pretty badly.

I felt that the series made a very good shift in the Tokyo arc of the manga, changing up the dynamics of the character relationships vastly - and it all had such gorgeous illustration! I was pretty cautious about getting my hopes up for an anime adaptation of what I felt was one of the most interesting plot twists CLAMP has thought up, but they haven't disappointed. I still don't feel like the animation does CLAMP's style justice, but it's still very pretty to look at.

Overall, even if you've lost faith in the series on the anime side, I'd suggest catching these OAVs.

New trailer is out for the last episode of the OVA!

If you can't get it there, go here and go to the "Movie & Screenshot" tab:

There were a number of intriguing scenes there. I wonder was Sakura is doing on that hover scooter.

Whoa what the heck Sakura pulled a Yuna on us in the third OVA episode getting all beaten up, flying around in a scooter and shooting with her pistol =D anyway I really hope Production I.G continues the rest of the story since the manga I heard is wrapping up, I really enjoyed this short OVA compared to the TV.

FINAL EPISODE! And I just cracked with glee when I saw this!

Image

Awesome! So freakin' AWESOME! 8-)

Words cannot describe the joy I had with this episode and the entire OVA. Production I.G. should seriously consider doing more Tsubasa OVAs. And we get to see Sakura kick some ass which is one hell of a payoff! Some things I found rather intriguing:
- So Fuuma is related to Seishiro, huh? In a way, it makes sense.

- Hmmm, so after all this time Syaoran and the gang now knows the existence of Fei Wong Reed. I guess with that in mind, the story can go on with full force.

- Was this the first time Sakura actually left her feather alone?
I found it odd that they changed it for the OVA.
In the manga there is absolutely no mention or sighting of Sakura (the card captor one). That being said, having her in there made it better.
Hiya newbie XD! We aren't allowed to give out links for anime. It's against the rules. Correct me if I'm wrong.

EHHHHH?!!!

I was browsing through ANN's Encyclopedia, and it looks like another Tsubasa OVA series is coming soon!

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... p?id=10584

This one is titled Tsubasa: Shunraiki. It'll feature the same staff from Tokyo Revelations. I wonder what this one is going to be about.

Ohhh, considering the quality of the last OVAs, and that Production I.G is still responsible of production, that's a really good news!
I stopped following the manga for some times now, I hope I'll be surprised by the plot evolution and the turns of events ^^.
