I'm sorry, you're a little late, the tracklist is filled :(

I am very disturbed by blabbler and Servo's comments. Regardless, I tried the laid-back, trusting approach, and the meeting was not attended by many, so now I'm going to try a little more serious of an approach. As you can see, the new deadlines, which we established during the meeting, are up. There will another meeting Saturday April 19th, at 7PM Eastern Time. I think this is pretty much the best I can do, time-wise, for everybody. Hopefully, you guys can all make it this time, and in any case, I will be PMing all of you this time, asking for confirmations. By the time of the meeting, you might freaking out as the beta deadline approaches, so I'm banking on the "scared sheep" tactic :P

Don't worry too much about the first beta deadline, though. As explained in the first post, all we want for that one is a proof of work, no more than 30 seconds, just to see you're on the right track, concept-wise.

Although we might need some backup editors if it's alright with Greggus and Eclipse.

I'm gonna be turning in my 1st drafts a week earlier than the scheduled May 1st deadline, because I'm gonna be in Hawaii that week. This is information I really don't need to post for, but I want everyone here to know so they can beat me to remember the early deadline.

Alright, due to popular demand, I am asking everyone if you're okay with changing the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9. Is this a problem for those of you who have already started editing, if any of you have? Let me know if you guys approve.

We are officially switching the resolution to 16:9 then. In addition, I'd like to announce a switch in the line-up: MaximOffZero is stepping down for Track B, to be replaced by Nunchuck. A very worthy replacement, I'm sure you'll all agree :)

My motivation for this project is 100 percent. I will see it to completion, with your help.

I would like to stick my oar in at this juncture to propose the use of 848x480, 1:1 par for maximum mod16 awesomeness.

My proposal is in no way attributable to both of my lucky star raws being in this format. In no way whatsoever. Thank you.

Dribblingly yours,
blabbler

PS. Oh, the perils!

Dammit!! beaten to the punch by the verbally obtuse :x
Next time i'll have to give up having a life on weekends to read threads on here and see who wants to give me a sex change this time. It seems to be a running theme for this year.

My only concern(I dont give a flying fig actually but in before the complaints start) with 16:9 is the upscaling people with a NTSC 4:3 source will have to do, it wont affect me at all because most of my sources are PAL and therefore shitt-err i mean are supposed to be scaled up slightly to 768X576 (4:3) and 1024X576 (16:9) so not much of a problem to get 848X480 I'm just aware of how much whineing(sp) there's been on other threads regarding changing 4:3 to 16:9

so yeah whateve resolution you want my drag queen mecha pilots will be fine.

That was one of my original qualms about it, but it seems like just about everybody is going to use a 16:9 source, so I figured, what the hell.

Shit, what a great idea for a source! Editors, take note!

Alright, I've been busy lately. That said, PMs have been sent out for a meeting on Saturday. Also, I was thinking today, and just realized: What is so hard about you guys taking the full mix and just finding your parts? Especially because they are multiple and spread out for each of you, it just seems pointless to make a split. Is there an issue I'm not considering here?
