I'm leaning toward The Third for my source (consider this positive.) As for how long... I'm not sure, the song's 3:23 long... so as long as I can be allowed I think.

Though I wonder about the rule stating no fade in/out. Is this video or audio or both? If audio, then how are you going to keep it from sounding like crap? Most of the remixes are well over 1-2 min in length and a sudden drop off is rather crappy. Are you planning on mixing each segment?

Hmm this seems really interesting id like to give it a go. This is the song id like <a href="http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR00474/">Sonic 3 Icecapzone Frozen Knuckles Mix</a>. As for the anime, im not quite sure yet but im leaning towards various. Ill put more thought into putting together a list if/when im accepted. The audio is 3:22 so id have to edit that down, since I havnt started cutting it up yet I cant really say exactly how long it will be, but im aiming for 45 seconds.

I'm considering joining this, because there are a lot of remixes that I'm interested in. I just have no idea what I'd use for source... without doing the ever-predictable formula of FF remix + FF source footage, that is.

Even if I don't join, I'd still like to see it finished... if the song mix comes out good, that is.

Yeah, the fade in/out was for the video.
Im gonna mix some and arange the videos so they sound smooth going into each other.
I'll do my best to make sure they don't sound abrupt.

I know what you mean about not wanting to do the FF + FF OC remix.
