Animix is 5 years old !
Ok, that's sort of a lie, but I needed a reason...
In february 2003, the concept of Animix started in my mind while I was listening constantly to Deep Dance 50 (I know...)
If you browse the history of the forum, you'll see that my first attempts at finding creators to participate where not super successful :
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... ght=animix
but after more than 15 months of work, in April 2004, the full Animix project was released. It is, as far as I know, still the AMV that involved the most creators ever (more than 100 participants).
I recently found a better quality version of the video on one of my CDs, and want to distribute it before I lose it definitely.
Note that it's not "that" good in terms of quality compared to today's standards, and the audio is uncompressed (whatever, I got the fiber...). This video is actually the result of the first pass of the XviD encode I did in 2004. Still, it's better than the versions that have been distributed so far.
Enjoy:

Nice. I like Animix 4 for the most. It´s a pretty interessting project and the first MEP I know =D
btw. uncompressed audio isn´t good. Yeah you know that, but did you know that you can mux and demux it in VDM without loosing any video quality? Just with using Direct Stream Copy to export with? I think a classic deserves better things than uncompressed audio =/ Especially when it´s very long.

I am lazy. I know I should've done that, but the file was sitting there, and I just started uploading it as is...Bauzi wrote: btw. uncompressed audio isn´t good. See the goods points :
1) You can do it yourself
2) People complaining about the sound quality of animix will see that the original CD was actually crappy
Ok, I know, I have no excuse.
But I don't care, and that's what matters.
