Isolating a color in vegas?

Post by guy07 » Mon Feb 04, 2008 10:32 pm

Somebody showed me how to do this a few years back for i'v had no use for it, so i forgot. How do you isolate a color and make it the only color on the screen? I think it had something to do with the saturation chroma ...and ....something ....>.>;
Like reversing a chroma key, get it?

DSE had a good article about this, but I lost the link.
Try here, instead.

In a few words, you need to place multiple copies of the same clip in layers, then apply the secondary color corrector with the invert-mask option checked. Composite the layers as needed.

Found it...Janzki posted it in an old archived topic. The Troxel newsletter is still worth reading.
