Looping

Since I'm new to Move Maker, I don't know how everything works, and one thing I cannot figure out at all is how to make parts of a clip loop and how to make parts play backwards. Can somebody tell me how to accomplish this?

looping: simply place the same clip on the timeline over and over.

How to do looping has already been stated, but for reversing clips if I remember right there is no effect on WMM. But I wouldn't know for sure since I haven't really used WMM too much as of late. Been on the mac XD

I heard there's some method to do it with VirtualDubMod, but I can't remember what it was.

You'll need to use AviSynth to get reversed video out of VDM.

AVISource("C:\path\your_video.avi")
Reverse()

Where path is the location of your original (forward) video clip and your_video.avi is the name of the original video.

Depending on the video you import into VDM, instead of AVISource, you may have to use DirectShowSource, MPEG2Source, or FFmpegSource for better results.
