ZOMG! Too Many To Choose From!

Postby CodeZTM » Mon Dec 31, 2007 12:38 am

I finally caught up on my anime and manga reading/watching, so I'm on the hunt!

I've already decided on Loveless as my next manga I'm going to read, but I'd really like anime suggestions.

Here are my favorite anime for a basis:

Loveless
CardCaptor Sakura
Fruits Basket
Kino's Journey

I'm looking for something more romance oriented.

Full list of anime I've seen is here:

Clannad.

Then there's also...

Air
Kanon 2006
Shakugan no SHANA
ef - a tale of memories

Well, from your given list, I'd presume you'll love those.

Hmm... Kanon looks good and so does Shana. ^_^

As for Kanon - watch the 2006 version instead of original, because it's longer and oh the drama! I haven't checked out that list of yours,so if you haven't seen "Aishteruze Baby"?
:D I like laughter ;DD

other than a couple of funny gags early on, there hasn't been anything yet to make clannad a 'must watch' IMO.
kanon on the other hand was good times. check it out

Kanon - 2006 was pretty good though I'd rather recommend Air - TV :D

What I could recommend.. Strawberry Panic! or Maria-sama ga Miteru (AKA Marimite for short)?

Air-TV dissapointed me greatly...

Good ones that just came out this year, but arent available in the states yet are:
School Days (demented anime near the end)
Myself; Yourself
Dragonauts (still ongoing)

Others I have kept on my HD or have gotten in DVD are:
Genshiken (1 and 2)
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu
Kakurenbo

Hope this helps some.

I couldn't get into shana for some reason, but Clannad is win.

Since you like Kino though, I strongly suggest Mushishi.

Im going to go out on a limb here and suggest Girls Bravo... i saw that you watched Chobits, and you should give GB a watch if you liked chobits... Its got more ecchi, but I personally thought it was great.

I disagree. Girls Bravo can be for good times, but not Chobits' style good tiems.

For romance and comedy, Ouran High School Host Club is always a safe choice.
