About the font. Heh, I don't know if it would fit your amv, but I do love the Jenkins V2.

Jokes aside, it really is a matter of personal aesthetics... unless you 've been studying typography or design or something similar... but then again you wouldn't ask...
The thing is that the font you choose has to match somehow the general theme of your video. For example if you 've done a scary, dark vid, you could choose a close-to-gothic font, or in case your vid is closer to comedy a funnier font.
Now, about static or animated intro, well perhaps you could do a little bit of both, having the amv title static throughout the intro, while the info (anime, song etc) could scroll into place...Hope it hepled
