Just finished 13 now, and man I'm actually really sad it's over. Hell, I'd have loved for this to be a 24 episode series...

All the episodes seemed to fly by because they were so funny, like ever second of it.

The ending was fitting, but it just made me want to see more XD

Oh well, waiting for Okawari... though the animation doesn't look as promising :/

.. 720i normally doesn't cause problems with 3.2gig processors.
My On-Line computer is an EVO 330/D510 2.4gig and it stutters in 720i encodes.
( just so you have a reference of what is too slow for 720i ) FYI sorry.

Well, yes, my laptop is a bit old (Dell Inspiration 1100), but i've been watching other large-format new releases like Rental Magica, Zombie Loan, Night Wizard, Lucky Star, etc. without any sort of problem - which is why i felt it was weird. Anyways, this is all going a bit off topic, so i'll end it here.

sorry about that; unfortunately I'm a victim of my own greed.
( when my computer couldn't keep-up with MP4's & MKv's .. I jumped on the upgrade wagon and I forget sometimes that not everyone can do this )

.. as for WHY they would switch to from 396i ( T_T is that even a standard??? ) to 720i ... hmmm ... ?because every one else is doing it??? ~_~ no idea comes to mind ~_~

I have 2 systems - the other one blows my laptop away. I can run properly encoded 720i on my laptop (i've done it with several other series). I was saying they did something wonky with the encode so it used far more process resources in VLC than it should have.

yeah, I'll say so; they encoded it with H264 and X264 values
-- the new series is the same way [[ 348meg per episode T_T ?? ]] .. .. there is no need for the Episodes to be that FAT ( 300+meg ) unless they are not used to Divx 6.6 settings! I re-phased the 120 fps to 47.928 and it played just fine @ 704 X 396i ^^

.. for those who are waiting on the first episodes release, -- no one looks the same [[ except Chiaki & Moto-chan ]] and Kana is acting really weird!
