MeGUI video quality problem.

Postby guy07 » Tue Jan 01, 2008 11:44 pm

Ok, i exported the video from vegas in lag, cropped it in v-dub, saved it in lag again, then loaded the video and two audio streams into MeGUI, they play fine but the video quality sucks really bad for some reason. I'm using akira but the lags looked fine so it's not the footages problem,i've tried rendering it in 30mb, 40 mb and 85mb and even the 85mb one didn't look that good, the video is only about 2:30 long so 30mb should be a good file size for the quality to be fine.

Any thoughts? I've used it before and it worked fine ...and the two audio steams are only 128kb/s and 96kb/s so that shouldn't take up that much of the file size.

.. if it looks fine in Vegas but looks like "hell" otherwise, then you've used the wrong settings in Lag.!

Hm, yeah maybe after i cropped it in v-dub i got the resolution wrong. That could explain it... is there anywhere where there's a list of official resolutions? That could really come in handy. I rendered the second lag in 640X368,that's the right AR to use for Akira right?
